One priority of our Kappa League program is to provide our Kappa Leaguers with opportunities for Leadership development. From 2/8 - 2/10, the Juniors, Seniors, and Officers participated in the Southeastern Province Kappa League Conference in Clemson, SC. 35 Kappa Leaguers attended which is another record for our chapter. Itinerary: Day 1 travel to the conference and opening session. Day 2 was a day of Excellence with 6 great leadership sessions and a Clemson Tigers win against Virginia Tech basketball game, and being inspired during the touching presentation by our guest speaker during the dinner session. We closed on Day 3 with an Ecumenical Service, a great word from Brother Freeman, and a safe trip home.
Another program focus is academics: On 2/16, we held the LDAC SAT Math Boot Camp at Roberts Elementary School with 17 participants. The LDAC Foundation and Ms. Carter (The Math Lady) sponsored many of the student participants at this event. This informative SAT prep session has helped many young students increase their SAT scores.

We completed Kappa League Officer Nominations for the 2019 - 2020 year and highlighted the many achievements of our Kappa Leaguers.
